The Kings came together in 2023 for the NeoPolitical Cowgirls renown Battle of the Fantasy Girl Band. Chosen to take the crown by the epic Theo Kogan of the Lunachicks, they decided to continue their musical journey and will be performing a full set at the famous Steven Talkhouse on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend.
Their debut song Creed was written in 2021 during the run of the play Sympathetic Magic, by Lanford Wilson. It was inspired by dressing room conversations with Ms. King's stage daughter Taylor Lynn Carter, who was becoming Mrs. Senatus amidst rehearsals.
